Meet the Team

    Yazmín aka "Jasmine"

    I’m the founder of Steppin’ Woof!, an animal lover, walker of many paws, and pet parent myself. I created this business because I believe pets deserve more than just care — they deserve connection, consistency, and kindness. After years in Human Resources, I realized my happiest moments came when I was out walking, caring for, or just goofing around with my dogs. So I followed my gut (and some muddy paw prints) and turned that passion into a service that brings peace of mind to pet parents across the Greater Annapolis Area.

    Stephanie

    After spending many years in the corporate world, Stephanie decided it was time to trade meetings and spreadsheets for wagging tails and doggie kisses — and we're certainly glad she did! She has loved animals her entire life and has shared her home with dogs for as long as she can remember, along with a beloved cockatoo. Stephanie brings warmth, kindness, and a genuine love of animals to every visit.

    Quinn

    A dog lover, who is always up for hanging with furry ones, Quinn is ready to walk or sit for your pup! He grew up around dogs his whole life and feels a kinship with them. We love how reliable he is, but the best thing about Quinn is his endless positivity.

    Caden

    Caden grew up surrounded by animals and currently shares his life with quite the crew of dogs and cats. When he's not spending time with animals, you'll probably find him at the beach, which he happily considers his favorite place to be. Caden brings a calm, caring presence and a true love of pets to the Steppin' Woof! team.

    Jonathan

    This guy has a huge heart and a patient easy-going attitude making him the perfect pet sitter. He loves animals, as he’s been around them for most of his life, and he just understands them. We’re sure you’ll love his sweet disposition and thoughtfulness.

    Alex is currently pursuing a career in Sports Law and will be returning to law school this fall. Between classes, he's spending his summer helping care for your pets and supporting our growing team. Alex has fantastic energy, a great attitude, and a genuine love for animals that shines through from the moment you meet him.

We’re proud to partner with Rise Above Animal Rescue in Pasadena, MD — the same incredible team that helped bring two of our cats home. We’ve seen the love and care they pour into every rescue.

We’re starting small, since we’re small, with only $100/month, but as Steppin’ Woof! grows, our impact will too. We’ve pledged to raise our donations every year, up to 5% of profits once we’re fully established, and to add more deserving charities to our donations list, ensuring every walk and sitting helps another pet find safety, warmth, and love.

Because we don’t just walk dogs — we walk for good.
